Awards Sunday! :D

Happy, Happy Sunday to you all!

I hope you had a great week and that the weekend has been all about relaxation and fun that you’d been looking forward to.

As for me, I have been cra-aazy busy studying for my NCA Examinations. The entire Examination structure is completely opposite to what I’d been doing in India, so yea, it’s got me quite psyched & I’m really stressed pretty much all the time.

But, but, but I have been super excited for doing THIS post because the super sweet & lovely Brianna at OnlineBeautyFinds nominated me for the Liebster Award. Oh my Gosh- for some silly reason this gets me all hyper & animated! 😛

Ok, so let’s jump right into to the Award 😀 😀

The Fashion Genie is FINALLY here- BLINGE <3

So today I’m talking about something, which every woman on this planet ponders about. And I certainly can’t put it better than Rebecca Bloomwood from ‘Confessions of a Shopaholic’. Remember those golden words- “You know that thing when you see someone cute and he smiles and your heart kind of goes like warm butter sliding down hot toast? Well, that’s what it’s like when I see a Store. Only, it’s better! “

I know, right? Even more, when the Store proudly displays the four-lettered word- SALE on its windows. That’s pure love, and nothing comes between my ❤ & me. And can you blame me? There’re just so many options to choose from & I literally NEED all of it in my life. I swear, I REALLY REALLY do.

But lately I’ve started realising that wallet constraints can be a big bummer, especially when your heart pines for all high-end brands. 😳 Versace, why you gotta be so expensive!! So you know that moment, when your best friend throws an impromptu party, and you have nothing new to wear & an empty wallet at the end of the month! I do not like repeating clothes, so I would try my best to make the old ones work at such times. But, trust me, you &  I both know that swapping the belt, or shoes, do not make that old dress look new. It still looks timeworn and faded, and I do not feel as confident as I want to, when I enter the party. 😦

Aaaaand that’s why I have been on cloud nine, since I found Blinge! In plain, simple words- it’s my fashion genie & it grants me all my wishes. What else could I ask for! 😛

Blog Tour Award! Yayiiiie :D

Happy Monday, people!

I hope you guys had a great weekend. I know I’ve been a little MIA lately, because I’m trying to start my Canadian Law Licensing process. This requires extensive study, too many exams and oh-so-much-time! So yea, now that you know what’s been up- let’s move ahead to today’s post. 😀

I’m super excited for it because I’ve been nominated for the Blog Tour Award, by the lovely Coral Lawson. She blogs about Fashion, Food and so much more. So be sure to check her out as well. 😀

So the rules of this Award are pretty simple, but they do require quite some thinking, as compared to the other Awards. I mean, explaining our creative process- hmmm, how do I start on that, eh? Well, Coral had already selected the questions that I’m supposed to answer, so let’s just jump right into it.

Bedroom Decor: Ideas & Inspiration

Hii you!

Happy Happy Thursday!

I hope you’re having a great morning. It had been relatively gloomy here in Toronto, but today it looks super sunny outside. And I hope & pray & am keeping my fingers crossed that it stays the same- because sunny days are the best. And I want every single one of them, until winter rolls in the North. 😆

Anyhow, moving ahead to what I’m talking about today- I have been obsessing over doing our Bedroom. Now, having lived in School & University Hostels for 7 years, I always believed myself to be fairly acquainted to the idea of decorating my space. For example, during my School days, I had a huuuuge poster of Enrique Iglesias in my room, proudly declaring my undying love for him. Then my taste gradually changed, and during my University days, I would keep my beds perfectly done, with complementary curtains, doormat and well-decorated desk. Partial wallpaper and subtle lighting was enough those days, and I loved everything about my room. Good enough, right?

Well, kind of WRONG. Once you enter the real world, you realise that even decent sized bedrooms are probably 3 times the size of the rathole that Universities make us live in. And yes, decorating them doesn’t come easy at all. :\

Vera Wang Princess Set- Review!

Hello everyone,

Happy Tuesday to all of you! 🙂

Ohk, so remember the time when I created a Spring List here? I had so much of fun doing that, & I’d been looking forward to finalising a Summer version as well. But only when it feels like summer, right? It was raining here for the entire weekend, and all my plans to get out of town were “whoooooooosh”– thrown into the trash. Aaand now that the weekend is over, look at that Sun shining! 😡

Anyhow, I’m still excited because this week is going to fun, family & soo much shopping (here’s hoping for that ^^’ ). Yes, I’ll be travelling to Chicago & then heading to a big, fat family event over the 4th of July weekend. And the coincidence can only mean more awesomeness, right? Also, that reminds me that I haven’t even started packing so I’ve to get to that as well. 😛

Moving ahead, remember me talking about Dolce by D&G in my Spring List? I found that bottle sooooo pretty-pwetty that I’d ve considered getting that solely for that reason. Well, luckily I’ve got one such in my collection now, and it’s even more pretty. ❤

The Beauty Blender- How to Use/ How to Clean :D

Hi everyone!

Happy Happy Saturday to all!

Like I said, I’m back with a detailed review of the Beauty Blender. Now before I start raving about the very famous, the very popular & super-talked about holy-grail product of every makeup-fanatic on this planet, I just wanted to talk a bit about my next post. If you follow me on Instagram, you must have seen how amazingly pretty it looks, and yes, I’m talking about the Vera Wang Princess Set. It comes in an absolutely dreamy packaging, and smells like ..well, you’ll have to wait for the next post to know more about it, right? 😛

Anyhow, did you know that the original Beauty Blender can actually be used with foundations, primers, blushes, highlighters, contour creams & just pretty much everything!  Whaaaat! I love my Beauty Blender even more now! It’s truly living up to the hype that has been created around it. I’ve been reading about it for the longest time, and everyone swears that none, and LITERALLY none of the dupes work as good as the original one. So, here I was, a newbie under 2 weeks to the Big City of Toronto, heading straight to Sephora, at the Eaton Centre. Now, don’t get me wrong, there’s Sephora in New Delhi as well, but Oh-Em-Geee- everything at the Sephora here is wayyyy better. They have a fantabulous selection- I mean I cannot possibly describe how I restrained myself from splurging too much, or rather even deciding what to splurge on. Actually splurge is the word that my husband would use. For me, shopping at Sephora would always be about necessities. >:D Continue reading “The Beauty Blender- How to Use/ How to Clean :D”

So its 26th May, and the Fab Bag finally gets delivered. Guess we’re just expected to get used to the fact that they’re making it a habit to deliver when the month is almost over. 😳

Anyhow, leaving all my sarcasm aside, I’m pleasantly surprised with the May Fab Bag. Looks like they actually realised that they’d been lowering their Bags lately. Although I still do have one problem, but I’ll get to that later. I can start with good stuff- so here it is. 😀

Subsciption Addiction: MSM Box Review!

Hi everyone!

How are you’ll? I’m really sorry for the delay in posts. I know, I know it’s been a little too long this time. Things have just been super-super hectic lately, but I’m definitely not going to let this happen again. 🙂

Anyhow getting on today’s post, I have been loving Subscription Boxes! The sheer exhilaration you feel when you’re unwrapping a box, to discover the awesomeness sent your way, is simply unparalleled. Which gets even better when the packaging has been done in an amazing manner, which is exactly what MSM Box has! All the goodies were carefully wrapped in a delicate tissue paper, and stuffed with confetti like stuff. Plus, one of the products smells real good, so as I tore open the package, I was like- Woah! What is that enchanting smell! Did they put a perfume in here? This feels magical whilst unwrapping the Box. 😀

Splurge vs. Save: Valentino Rockstud Pumps Replica

So when exactly do you know that you spend too much time shopping or rather window-shopping online? Well in my case, when I start finding designer lookalikes, without even actually trying to find it. 😛 I have so much more which I can add to this List, but today I’m going to talk about those elusive Valentino RockStud Leather Mid-Heel Pumps, which look fabulous! I mean, I have been seeing them for so long & every-time, I’m like- sigh! if only!!  Have a look at this beauty, & you’ll know what I’m talking about; oh & in case you didn’t know, it carries a super-heft price tag of around INR 69-72k. So yeah, well. 😐 Continue reading “Splurge vs. Save: Valentino Rockstud Pumps Replica”
