Bridal Asia, Mumbai 2015- Affordable Designers you should know about!

Hi everyone!

I visited Bridal Asia on 12th April, & I just couldn’t wait to share all the details here. Also, I was thinking- I’m going to start posting on Monday’s, so you can start the week with some awesomeness. Hehe.

Anyhow, getting on with today’s much awaited post, everyone knows that Bridal Asia was here in Mumbai from 10-12th April, 2015. The moment I came to know about this, I was over the moon with excitement, although, somehow I didn’t really get a lot of time there on Sunday.

However, I still have some great finds to talk about today, so you should keep scrolling for I have compiled a list of affordable designers with outright amazing designs! I have even included contact/shopping details so in case you missed out on the Exhibition, you’d still know how to get the good stuff. 😉

All of these are lightweight, breeezy designs, which you can wear at Sangeet, Mehendi, Friend’s/Sibling’s Wedding and even later! Even their Wedding collections were gorgeous and so much lighter on your pocket that you’d be wondering how you’d never given these labels a thought! Without much ado, let’s get started. 😛

Divya Reddy

Hands down, she has to be the most affordable designer at Bridal Asia, with super pretty gota-patti covered designs. Divya Reddy’s based out of Hyderabad, so if you live there- run to her store RIGHT NOW! She had absolutely drool-worthy Floor-length Anarkali’s and fluid Gowns ranging from 10k-18k, and her Lehengas were for 25k! 😮

[What an ah-maazing & fresh combination of colours, priced at 25k! Oh, and incase you’re wondering, that Lehenga Skirt was quite volumnious, which I loved the most!]

Sonali Gupta

Ok, so I found her designs on Pernia’s Pop up Shop– which is so cool, because in case you missed out on the Exhibition- you can get it there.

This was the outfit which first caught my eye, as I entered her stall. Isn’t it amazing! Look at Yami Gupta, in a peachy version of it- doesn’t she look fabulous! Although with a tag of 44.5k, it isn’t very moderately priced, so I moved ahead & found this:

I mean would you look at all that embroidery and lovely, pastel shade, with a price tag of 30k!

Saa.n.shé & Peppermint Diva don’t really need much introduction, what with celebrities showing their love everywhere! They have established themselves with their beautiful designs, and affordable price-tags!

Saa.n.shé

[Bright coloured Lehengas by the Designer, and Evelyn Sharma in Saa.n.shé]

How to buy: Saa.n.shé has a studio in Mumbai, and you can also find them at AZA (Delhi & Mumbai) 🙂

Cilwana Designs

Cilwana Designs had so many full-skirted outfits, with frilly jackets and sheer overlays! Such an amazing collection of lovely prints and offbeat designs! I don’t really have a lot of pictures, but you can visit their store in Wadala, and get all your fix!

 

[Notice the super-volumnious-Cinderella like Skirts hanging at the back-these were paired with lovely black crop tops & the entire set was priced at 35k!]

Akshay Wadhwa

Last but not the least, you have to include his beautiful layered Anarkalis in your trousseau, and the best part is that his line is available at Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop!

[Layered Anarkali- this is one of the simpler designs, but still so pretty! Oh, and it’s for 20.5k! 🙄 ]

How to buy: If you’re in Delhi, they have a store in Shahpur Jat, but they’re also available on Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop! 🙂

Also, Bridal Asia is coming to Delhi from 17th-19th October, 2015, so if you’re in Delhi, then you know where to go! 😎 I had so much of fun compiling this, & I had no idea that Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop actually carried such affordable lines as well. I’m thinking of doing a post for more affordable designer, with all designs under 20k! What do you think?
